The Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP) is a collaborative partnership between the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), and L.I.P.I. – Low Income People Involvement, and our volunteers.
Our tax clinic volunteers complete tax and benefit returns for eligible individuals to ensure they receive, or continue to receive, the benefit payments to which they are entitled.
In order to be eligible for the CVITP, individuals must have a modest income and a simple tax situation. Find out more
Canada Emergency or Recovery Benefits
If you received COVID-19 emergency or recovery benefits from the CRA in 2020, you will receive a T4A slip. You must report these amounts on your 2020 income tax and benefits return. For details: COVID-19 benefit amounts on your T4A slip
How To Apply?
Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and in response to the continued public health measures enacted by the federal and provincial governments, the decision has been made to move our income tax process to an online process.

Download, Print and Complete all the information that applies to you. All 2020 information slips for you and any dependents (spouse, children, etc.) are required to complete your income taxes. Rent or property tax receipts would be preferred.
